Definition:
 
1. not lasting long: lasting for only a short time
a brief conversation

2. concise: containing only the necessary information, without any extra details

3. curt: curt and abrupt in conversation
a brief exchange between adversaries

4. dress scanty: describes clothing that leaves much of the wearer's body exposed
