booster

Definition:
 
1. vigorous promoter of something or somebody: an enthusiastic promoter or supporter of something or somebody, e.g. of a team

2. somebody or something that causes improvement: somebody or something that improves, strengthens, or encourages somebody or something ( usually used in combination )
a morale-booster

3. electronics radio-frequency amplifier: a radio-frequency amplifier that amplifies weak television or radio signals and retransmits them so that they can be received by viewers or listeners

4. aerospace

5. technology device that makes something more effective: a device used to increase the effectiveness of a piece of equipment

6. immunology supplementary dose of vaccine: a repeat dose of a vaccine given some time after the initial course to maintain the level of immunity provided by the previous dose
