Bhopal
Bho·pal [ bō pl ] or Bhō·pal [ bō pl ] city and capital of Madhya Pradesh State, central India. It was the site of the world's worst industrial accident when a gas leak at a chemical plant killed more than 3,300 people in 1984.
Population: 1,454,830 (2001).
