Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb ask with emotion: to ask somebody for something such as a favor in a heartfelt, humble, or even humiliating way
begged them for forgiveness
I beg of you to stop.

2. transitive and intransitive verb ask for charity: to ask people for gifts of money or food, especially in the street
