Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb perform ceremony of baptism: to sprinkle somebody with or immerse somebody in water as a sign that the person has been accepted into the Christian faith

2. transitive verb name somebody in baptism: to give a personal name to somebody during the Christian ceremony of baptism
