Definition:
 
1. transitive verb put somebody or something in order: to put people or things in a position or order
All the CDs were arranged alphabetically.

2. transitive verb prepare for something: to do what is necessary to make something happen in the future
arrange a meeting

3. transitive and intransitive verb make agreement for something to happen: to make an agreement so that something can happen or somebody can have something
She's arranged for the painters to start next week.

4. transitive and intransitive verb music adapt music: to adapt a piece of music for playing or singing in a different manner ( often passive )
