Cultural Note


	Schindler's Ark, a novel (1982) by Thomas Keneally. It tells the true story of a German industrialist, Oskar Schindler, who helped thousands of Jews avoid the Nazi death camps by employing them in his factories. It was made into a movie called Schindler's List by Steven Spielberg in 1993.
