Definition:
 
1. intransitive verb spend time worrying: to think about something intensely and anxiously, usually in great detail and for a long time, before making a decision
to agonize over the answer to every question

2. transitive and intransitive verb suffer or cause somebody pain: to suffer, or cause somebody to suffer, extreme pain or mental anguish

3. intransitive verb struggle: to make a desperate or strenuous effort ( literary )
