Cultural Note

Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, a play (1962) by U.S. dramatist Edward Albee. Albee's first full-length play examines the sour relationship between a middle-aged underachieving academic and his embittered wife. A dinner party with a younger, not dissimilar couple forces them to confront the reality of their past and present.
