Cultural Note

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, a novel by Mark Twain (1884). Conceived as a sequel to Tom Sawyer, it focuses on subsequent events in the life of Tom's friend Huckleberry Finn. With its realistic portrayal of frontier life, it is generally seen as a more adult book than its predecessor.
