1. transitive verb find weight of something: to find out the weight of somebody or something
He weighed himself regularly.

2. intransitive verb be particular weight: to be of a particular weight
The baby weighed seven pounds three ounces at birth.

3. transitive verb measure by weight: to measure or distribute something by weight
weighed out two pounds of onions

4. transitive verb evaluate: to consider or evaluate something, especially so as to be able to come to a decision or choice

5. intransitive verb have importance: to have importance or be influential
