Definition:
 
1. architecture recessed space: a recess, especially the recessed space between the top of a door or window and the arch above it, or between the cornices forming a classical triangular gable pediment

2. anatomy ear part: the eardrum or the cavity of the middle ear ( technical )

3. insects insect organ: a vibrating membrane in some insects that serves as a hearing organ

4. acoustics
