1. area of land or water: an unmeasured expanse of land or water, or a measured area, especially of land

2. group of organs: a system of organs or body parts that work together to provide for the passage of something such as food or bodily waste products

3. bundle of nerves: a group of nerve fibers that forms a pathway from one part of the brain or spinal cord to another
