1. sparkle and flash brightly: to give off or reflect light in sparks or flashes

2. be clever or witty: to be very lively, exciting, and entertaining, especially by saying brilliantly clever or witty things

3. physics emit light flashes: to produce sparks of light when hit by particles or photons
