Cultural Note

The Forsyte Saga, a series of novels (1906-1922) by British writer John Galsworthy. Set in early 20th-century England, it charts the decline of traditional Victorian values in upper-middle-class society through the story of three generations of the Forsyte family. It was made into a popular television series in 1967 and again in 2002.
