1. bird of crow family: a large bird of the crow family with black feathers and a pale area at the base of its beak, that nests in colonies in treetops. Native to: Europe, Asia.  Latin name Corvus frugilegus.

2. swindler: a swindler or cheat, especially at cards ( slang )
