Definition:
 
1. recollection of past: the recollection of past experiences or events in speech or writing, or the act of recalling the past

2. something remembered: an experience or event remembered from the past

3. reminder: something that recalls or suggests something similar

4. philosophy idea from Plato: the Platonic doctrine that anything we encounter is an imperfect recollection of an idea that our souls have encountered in a previous disembodied existence

5. psychology ability to perform task better: the ability to perform a task or remember information better some time after it has been learned than was possible immediately after it was learned
