Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb practice something before performing: to practice something before doing it, especially to practice something such as a play, speech, or piece of music before performing it for the public

2. transitive verb train somebody for performance: to train or instruct somebody who is practicing before doing something, especially before giving a public performance

3. transitive verb go over list: to go over a list of items, often reasons, complaints, or troubles

4. transitive and intransitive verb say something: to tell or repeat something such as a story ( literary )
