khat [ kaat ] (plural khats) or qat [ kaat ] (plural qats)

Definition:
 
1. stimulant leaves: the fresh leaves and twigs of a shrub that have a stimulating and euphoric effect when chewed or brewed as tea

2. white-flowered bush: an evergreen shrub whose leaves and twigs are used as khat. Native to: Arabia, Africa.  Latin name Catha edulis.
