Definition:
 
1. investigation: a thorough investigation, often into illegal or suspicious activities

2. circuit-testing device: a device with a metal tip used to test the behavior of electrical circuits, e.g., the probe on a voltmeter or ammeter

3. surgical instrument for exploring: a long thin instrument used by doctors and dentists for exploring or examining

4. aerospace
