1. wood from evergreen tree: the wood from an evergreen tree, varying from soft to hard. Use: furniture-making, construction, finishing material.

2. evergreen tree: an evergreen coniferous tree with needle-shaped leaves and woody cones, often grown for its wood or resin, or for ornament. Genus Pinus. ( often used before a noun )

3. tree resembling pine: a coniferous tree or bush that resembles a true pine, e.g. the Norfolk Island pine
