Definition:
 
1. overpower somebody emotionally: to affect somebody's emotions in a complete or irresistible way

2. provide somebody with huge amount: to supply somebody with a very large or excessive amount of something

3. overcome somebody physically: to use superior strength, force, or numbers to defeat somebody completely

4. surge over somebody or something: to flow over the top of and submerge or cover somebody or something
