Definition:
 
1. pillar of rock: a tall block of solid stone standing by itself, whether a natural rock feature or a stone column shaped and erected by somebody, e.g. as a monument

2. something large and immovable: something massive and unchanging, especially a large and long-established organization that is slow to change, uniform in character, and difficult to deal with on a human level

3. construction large block of building material: a large uniform block of a single building material such as concrete pieced together with others to form a building or other structure
