1. moving to another region every year: moving as part of a bird, fish, or other animal population from one region to another, usually at the same times every year, in order to breed or avoid unsuitable weather conditions

2. relating to movement from place to place: relating to the movement of people from one place to another in order to achieve better living conditions

3. not settling down: tending to wander from one region or country to another without settling down in one place for any length of time
