Definition:
 
1. visually distinct scenery: an expanse of scenery of a particular type, especially as much as can be seen by the eye

2. painting of view: a painting, drawing, or photograph of scenery, especially rural scenery

3. art of painting or drawing scenery: the branch of art dealing with the painting, drawing, or photographing of scenery

4. general situation of activity: the general situation providing the background to a particular type of activity

5. range of mental concerns: any characteristic group of intellectual or imaginative features ( literary )
