Definition:

1. meeting for asking questions: a meeting during which somebody is asked questions, e.g. by a prospective employer, a journalist, or a researcher

2. record of interview: a transcript, report on, or recording of an interview

3. somebody in interview: somebody who is asked to be interviewed ( informal )

verb (past and past participle in·ter·viewed, present participle in·ter·view·ing, 3rd person present singular in·ter·views)

2. intransitive verb perform in interview: to speak and answer in a particular way in an interview
