Definition:
 
1. anatomy digit of hand: a digit of the hand, sometimes excluding the thumb ( often used before a noun )

2. dress part of glove: a long narrow part of a glove that fits over a finger

3. narrow strip: something that resembles a finger in shape
a finger of sand

4. food long narrow piece of food: a small portion of food about as long and thick as a finger

5. beverages approximate quantity of alcohol: an approximate measure of alcoholic beverage in a glass, equal in depth to the width of a finger

6. measurements approximate unit of length: an approximate unit of measurement, equal to the width or length of a finger
