2. complete something: to complete an agreement, sale, or other transaction

Word Usage

finalize or make final? Though finalize has been in use for many years, even increasing in currency by the end of the 20th century, it is still disapproved of by many people in spite of its obvious utility in being a more concise way of saying "make final." You may wish to substitute finish, complete, or make final.
