Definition:
 
1. corner of car: any of the corner parts of the body of a motor vehicle, that surround each wheel

2. bicycle wheel covering: a curved piece of metal or plastic fixed above the front and back wheels of a bicycle to protect the cyclist from being splashed with mud

3. U.S. rail metal guard at front of locomotive: a metal guard built onto the front of a locomotive to push away any obstruction and lessen injury to people or animals struck by the locomotive

4. fireguard: a metal guard built onto the front of an open fire to prevent coals from falling out

5. protective cushion: an inflatable cylinder, rubber tire, or something similar, hung over the side of a vessel to protect it from rubbing against a pier or another ship
