Definition:
 
1. keep somebody or something out: to prevent somebody or something from entering or participating
I felt excluded from the family celebrations.

2. reject somebody or something: to prevent somebody or something from being considered or accepted
cannot exclude the possibility of treason

3. omit something or somebody: to fail to include something or somebody
Three names were inadvertently excluded from the list.
