Definition:
 
1. surplus: an amount or quantity beyond what is considered proper, usual, or sufficient
leaped up in an excess of enthusiasm

2. extra: the amount by which one quantity exceeds another

3. unrestrained behavior: behavior or activity that goes beyond what is socially or morally acceptable, or beyond what is good for somebody's health or well-being
led a life of excess
