1. pain in abdomen: a sudden attack of abdominal pain, often caused by spasm, inflammation, or obstruction

2. crying in babies: excessive crying and irritability in infants from a variety of causes, especially stomach or intestinal discomfort

3. serious digestive disease in horses: a serious disease of the digestive system in horses, sometimes leading to fatal intestinal blockage
