Definition:
 
1. not symmetrical: not balanced or regularly arranged on opposite sides of a line or around a central point
an asymmetric flower arrangement

2. not equal: lacking equality, balance, or harmony
two countries wholly asymmetric in their relations

3. chemistry with alternative atomic arrangements: describes a carbon atom bonded to four different atoms or radicals whose arrangement in space may occur in two different configurations stereoisomerism

4. electrical engineering with varying conductivity: describes a substance or a device that exhibits varying or different conductivities for currents flowing through it in different directions

5. aerospace with unequal thrust: describes an aircraft that is unbalanced because of unequal thrust from two or more sources, e.g. when one engine of a pair is not functioning properly

6. logic mathematics not interchangeable: describes a relation between two things in which the first has a relation to the second, but the second cannot have the same relation to the first
